Introducing Ellie Stanford

Ellie Stanford fell into dog grooming mainly by accident, bathing and learning the ropes from an experienced groomer who picked up on her love of all things ‘dog’. Ellie was around 11 years old when she started and by 19, she had opened her own home salon. She now co-owns a successful shop, Stanwells: Pet Styling, with her partner.

“I love to groom as well as show my Poodle when I get the chance. I adore grooming Poodles but also have a love of hand stripping and getting my hands on unusual breeds! Being able to do something a little different every day keeps everything fresh and exciting.

I am thrilled to be able to work with Mutneys. Being able to represent a brand who has been with me from my very first home salon and who shares the ideals and values that I have in my own business is a huge honour. The products have been a staple in all my salons for ten years now so to be able to share those with everyone else is exciting!

My favourite products have got to be the Salon Spray, I am a stickler for keeping everything clean and fresh, and the Kwik Dry Spray which is perfect for getting Spaniel ears dry before you reach retirement!”
