Great grinder but unfortunately the sanding band slips up and down when in use and where it touches wears the plastic away on top

I have two of these as I was worried I might be left high and dry if my first one died. I use on my 2 Vizslas that are raw fed so their nails grow at an alarming rate and they have very strong nails. If the sanding band slips its because you haven’t expanded the rubber bung enough using the little screw. My only problem with this model is that the low speed is underpowered for my dogs needs but the high setting can be quite alarming due to its noise and vibration for the dogs, though gradually I am managing to increase tolerance with an abundance of treats. Oh yes I can’t get hold of replacement covers for the top which is also frustrating. Battery power is excellent and I can easily do 2 dogs in one session without running out of power.

Great idea but mine sometimes does start some times, leaving me to have to mess with it whist dog is on table. Very disappointed as had very little use.
