Meet Lauren Jones – Mutneys Customer Relations Executive
Hello there. My name is Lauren Jones and I’ve been part of the Mutneys’ family for the past five years since I was 19.
I handle all our international orders from start to finish – we send our Mutneys products far and wide including Sweden and Finland. I also deal with all the sales emails and invoicing, so you’ve probably already heard from me at some point.
I’m really proud of coming up with the idea for our brand ambassadors partnership. We’ve all been really pleased with how it’s gone so far. I keep in touch with the brand ambassadors and talk to them about the latest trends and techniques. It means we are able to pass on all their expert advice to you.
I’m also in contact with all you groomers across the UK through Facebook – it’s amazing the amount I’ve learnt by chatting and seeing what you have to say.
The best thing about working for Mutneys is that we are a family – we are such a close knit team. I love what we do and the products we create. And I really enjoy working with the dog grooming community – you are all a little bit crazy but absolutely lovely!
My two dogs are just as much a part of the Mutneys’ team as I am. In fact English Setter Bonnie is lying by my feet just now, while Saluki Milo is at home keeping my Nana and our two house rabbits company.
They both love coming into the office and mixing with the other dogs. We’ve had Bonnie for around 3 months now and she’s settled in really well. We rescued her from Greece where she had been found wandering in the mountains. She gets on really well with Milo, who we have had for two and a half years, and the house rabbits, Binky and Blossom – it’s quite a house full!
I have always taken on rescue dogs so I’m quite used to the challenge but knowing that the dogs can come into the office means I don’t have to worry about them while I get on with my busy schedule at Mutneys.
It’s been fascinating learning all about grooming over the last five years through our products, speaking to our customers and chatting to the brand ambassadors. It’s been real on-the-job training but I’ve also completed my NVQ in Customer Service since I joined the team and am discussing more qualifications as part of the staff training programme.
I’m really proud to be part of the Mutneys’ family and love being part of the team that creates brilliant products for you to use. And I’m looking forward to chatting with you all about everything that’s happening in the dog grooming world.
